Ed Cholakian Enterprises began in North Hollywood, CA, in 1962 as a manufacturer's rep firm, soon growing into a warehouse with a fleet of trucks, selling speed and custom equipment to auto shops across the United States. One of his most popular lines was silk-screened t-shirts, with orders coming so fast that his subcontractor couldn't keep up, forcing him to set up his own, in-house silkscreen department, which continues to be busy today.

But the heart of Ed's business is centered around his love for Cadillacs. The Cadillac bug bit Ed in 1978 when he bought his first vintage Caddy, a 1947 Model 61 4-door. It was mechanically sound, but it needed a few trim pieces. He searched and searched and finally found the right pieces at an auto swap meet, the first he had ever attended. He bought only what he needed that day, but he was intrigued. "Then the whole thing just sort of got away from me," Ed says. At one point Ed has owned an example of every Cadillac model built in the 1940s. Once he got through the forties, he moved on to the fifties.

Today, Ed Cholakian's All Cadillacs of the Forties and Fifties fills a 21,000 square foot warehouse in Sylmar, CA, with additional offsite storage housing over 100 cars. Dozens of vintage Cadillacs, from parts cars to fully-restored autos, fill the center of the warehouse, many rented to Hollywood film and television productions. Surrounding this priceless collection are millions of Cadillac vintage, used, NOS (new old stock), reproduction and brand new parts. In 2002, new shelves and storage units have been installed to better sort and store all of the inventory accumulated over the last 40 years, with some priceless vintage and otherwise unattainable parts being discovered.

What makes THIS vintage Cadillac parts warehouse unique is the on-hand inventory, the LARGEST collection of vintage Cadillac parts in the world. And because of Ed's experience in restoring Cadillacs, he has access to ANY part you could possibly be looking for, as well as a list of suppliers, rebuilders, body shops and restoration experts at his fingertips. His staff includes experts in Cadillac service and restoration, and general manager Larry Venema knows every square inch of the warehouse. And Ed has is still at the same desk forty years later, 5 days a week, answering questions about Cadillac cars and parts. A tour of his collection and warehouse, available at no charge by appointment, has been enough to convince all visitors that here is a place that KNOWS about Cadillacs, from bolts to tires to complete cars.
